Ingredients needed:

  • 30 white acacia flowers,
  • 1 liter of water,
  • 0.500 kg of sugar,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice.


Cook thick sugar syrup in water and sugar for about 20 minutes on low heat. Leave it to cool, during which time the acacia flowers are well washed and dried. When the syrup has cooled, add the acacia and lemon juice. Stir gently and leave the container tightly closed for 24 hours at room temperature. The next day, the syrup is filtered and poured into glass jars. It is extremely useful for flu and colds. It is also suitable for stomach ailments, persistent cough and severe headaches. It can be taken a tablespoon three times.
