Ushtipci
Ingredients: 40 g of fresh yeast, 100 ml of warm water (for yeast), a pinch of sugar, 400 g
of flour, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of salt, 250 ml of water, 200 ml of oil. Technology: Put the
yeast, a pinch of sugar and flour in 100 ml of warm water and leave in a warm place to
rise. In a deeper bowl, place an egg, lightly beaten with a fork, add flour, salt, puffed
yeast and 250 ml of water. Stir with a fork for about a minute to mix everything and put
in a bowl, which should be half full (otherwise it will boil), in a warm place for about 30
minutes, so that the dough almost doubles. The
ushtipci are fried in hot oil. Turn only
when they are fully ready on one side. Arrange on a paper napkin to remove excess fat. If
desired, they can be served with grated hard cheese
