Traditional food and drinks are best consumed in traditional ambient, especially if traditional music is also present. The traditional ambience provides tourists with a complete experience and makes their visit unforgettable.
The traditional ambience provides tourists with a complete experience and makes their visit unforgettable. That is why many restaurants that completely or partially have traditional food and drinks in their menus add elements of a traditional restaurant (kafana) to their ambience. Starting from solid wood furniture, through tablecloths with local motifs, to decorating the entire building as an old cafe or house adapted to the local style of construction. Very often, these old houses have been turned into restaurants, cafes, gardens with traditional flowers and trees. And if they are newly built buildings, they are on the outskirts, with a large garden or orchard, wooden fences, carefully arranged wooden barrels or bullock carts.
Special attention is paid to the wardrobe of the waiter and other staff because it is also adapted to the local tradition with embroidered motifs characteristic of the area.
